Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Lateless mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Lateless is a departure time planning application that helps you arrive on time to your appointments. The App calculates when you should leave based on your location, destination, traffic conditions, and transit schedules.
Use of the App
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use the App while operating a vehicle or in any situation where distraction could be dangerous
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate departure times and travel estimates, we cannot guarantee their accuracy. Traffic conditions, transit schedules, and other factors can change unexpectedly. You are responsible for allowing adequate time for your journeys.
The App should be used as a helpful tool, not as the sole basis for time-critical decisions. We recommend building in extra buffer time for important appointments.
Subscriptions and Payments
Lateless is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce premium features or pricing changes in the future, with appropriate notice to users.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, content, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written consent.
Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OF TRAVEL TIME ESTIMATES, TRAFFIC INFORMATION, OR TRANSIT SCHEDULES.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Any errors or inaccuracies in travel time estimates
- Missed appointments or late arrivals
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
